Meet Paola Prioetti, the winner of the Work Study Award Video Contest and our current student-intern. Paola is a 26-year-old Venezuelan-Italian filmmaker and she is currently specializing in Directing.
Quote: PFI has become exactly what I needed for my audiovisual career, teachers who work in the field, equipment within reach of the student and a lot of practical work, it has also meant an incredible way to get to know a city as magical as Prague that has a lot of support for students, an incredible transportation system, and a great scene for films.
The scholarship has also allowed me to work directly with the school, to get to know my talented classmates, from whom I learn something every day, and to get to know the quality of people who are part of the staff, wonderful people who have focused on making the school as close to a professional environment as possible.

We are now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 Work-Study Award position: a full scholarship to study in Prague Film Institute’s 1 Year Course and work as an intern on our marketing and operations teams. This is a truly unique experience to study for free and gain valuable training in with our staff.
To apply for the Work-Study Award, you will need to make a 1-2 minute film in one take. That means telling a story with no cuts from beginning to end. Get creative, find your crew, and start shooting!
