Procedure

About Admissions

The admission procedure at our school takes place without entrance exams and the submission of applications is free. Before applying we recommend to check entrance requirements. Admission process starts by filling out the online application form. You will hear back from us within 1 week. After acceptance we will send you a study contract and you will be asked to pay a deposit of 50% of the tuition fee. Preference is given to those who first sign Prague Film Institute’s study contract and pay the deposit which secures place on the course.

Submit the Application

Fill in and submit on-line application form on our website.

Video Interview

If you meet the entry requirements, you will get shortlisted for an online video interview to evaluate your motivation, interest in filmmaking and your study expectations (interview is mandatory only for long term courses).

Signature of Study Contract

After being accepted you will receive a study contract to sign and you have a week to sign it.

Deposit Payment

To secure your place on the course, you will be asked to pay 50% of the tuition fee by bank transfer within the next 3 weeks. For 2-year programs, it is 50% of the first year’s tuition fee.

Apply for Visa

This step is applicable only for non-EU applicants. After we receive the deposit payment, we will connect you with our visa agent and you will start preparing your visa application.

Payment Plan

The remaining amount of the course tuition fee (or annual fee in case of year-long programs) is due 6 weeks before the start of academic year.
