Admissions for cinematography courses after 12th at Prague Film Institute are open now. Our cinematography courses after 12th are hands-on, full-time, suitable also for beginners and taught in English in small groups on our campus in the historical centre of Prague, the Czech Republic. Every academic year you will have the opportunity to participate on set for up to 20 short films and scenes of different styles including 2 festival-worthy final films of your own which you can use for a high-quality showreel. Our best students will get a chance to have a filmmaking internship on a professional film set. The programs are accredited by Ministry of Education of the Czech Republic and UK qualification BTEC Higher Nationals.

We will introduce you the world of professional underwater cinematography. You will get OWD diving certificate, learn underwater camera and shoot a breathtaking footage.
Learn from the best how to direct and shoot both action and fighting scenes. Master efficient stuntmen coordination. The teacher of this module is president of Czech Stunt and Fighters Association.
During the cameraman course, you will have access to high-end filmmaking equipment and a green screen studio located on our campus. Our equipment is available for you to use free of charge both during the classes and on your own final film projects and includes the most popular cinema cameras RED Gemini and RED Dragon, various camera accessories, lenses, lights, sound equipment, grip, production and mobile facilities (car Hyundai H1).
During study you will turn all knowledge acquired in the classroom into practice. During one academic year you will shoot up to 20 short films and scenes of different styles which you can be used for a high-quality showreel.
Small class sizes means more time with tutors and individual guidance on your projects. Our teachers are actively involved in the film industry and can offer tips on the latest trends in filmmaking.
